Typically, sellers think it’s better to wait until fall to sell, but summer is actually a perfect time to list your home. Here are the top 5 reasons why you should sell you home during the summer.

#1 – Buyers have better things to do during summer than look at homes unless they are serious!

Buyers have more time to look for a home during summer than other times of the year. 

#2 – Buyers have fewer houses to choose from during the summer and when you have less competing homes for sale, that means more money in your pocket. 

Lower supply creates competition from buyers looking to buy a property. 

#3 – Buyers prefer to move during the summer than other months.

Buyers tend to take time off during summer so this time can be used to facilitate the move. For those with children, they don’t have to deal with the hassle of changing schools. Weather wise, it's more pleasant to move during the summer when it is sunny than during the fall when it rains more frequently.
